Robert Maynard, RN
Robert Maynard, ASN, RN, has devoted his career to emergency nursing, inspired by the life-saving emergency care he received after a serious car accident in his late teens. After nine years as an EMT and paramedic in Massachusetts, he earned his nursing degree and became a registered nurse in 2004. For the next decade he worked exclusively in emergency departments — from a Harvard-affiliated Level I trauma center in Boston, busy community and suburban ERs across Massachusetts, Maine, Martha’s Vineyard, and the Las Vegas valley.
In the ER he regularly handled triage and charge-nurse duties, managed 20–30 patients per shift, ran codes, operated critical equipment, and worked closely with the entire trauma team to deliver fast, effective care under pressure.
In 2015, after twenty consecutive years in emergency care, Robert stepped away from clinical nursing to pursue interests outside of direct patient care. In 2025 he brought his Nevada RN license fully current, completed all required continuing education, and earned current American Heart Association certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. With decades of hands-on emergency and trauma experience and fully up-to-date credentials, he is actively seeking full-time emergency nursing positions in Nevada and surrounding states.
